BlackStarAcademy an innovative online supplementary Saturday school dedicated to empowering Black youth aged 8-16 across the UK and the wider diaspora.
Launching February 2025, BlackStarAcademy provides a unique educational experience that combines Afrocentric studies with academic support aligned to the English National Curriculum.
Our mission is to celebrate Black culture, foster academic excellence, and empower students with a strong sense of identity and self-esteem.
BSA’s unique approach is rooted in Pan-Africanism, Communitarianism, and is heavily influenced by Marcus Garvey’s philosophy of self-confidence and Black unity.
Our academy operates entirely free of charge, powered by a passionate team of volunteers who believe in the transformative power of education.
We aim to foster a sense of global Black unity by connecting students across the diaspora through shared learning experiences.

We envision a future where Black youth worldwide are united in their pursuit of knowledge, self-empowerment, and cultural pride.
Drawing inspiration from Marcus Garvey's philosophy, we see our students as future leaders who will contribute to the advancement of Black communities globally.
Our vision is to create a virtual space that transcends geographical boundaries, fostering a sense of Pan-African unity and shared purpose.
We aspire to build a network of empowered Black youth who understand their history, celebrate their identity, and work collectively towards the betterment of their communities.
Through our commitment to free education and volunteer-driven initiatives, we aim to demonstrate the power of communitarianism in action, showing that when we unite our efforts, we can achieve greatness without financial barriers.
