Welcome to BlackStarAcademy's Future Leaders program, where we empower young Black students to reach their full potential and become the leaders of tomorrow.
Our Future Leaders program is designed to support Black students aged 8-16 in developing their academic skills, cultural awareness, and leadership abilities. Through a combination of personalized coaching, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, we aim to inspire and equip our students for success.
Afrocentric Curriculum: Our program integrates African history, culture, and achievements into every aspect of learning.
Small Group Coaching: Experienced coaches work closely with students to set goals and track progress *dependent on volunteers
Black Professional Mentoring: Selected students will paired with successful Black professionals for guidance and inspiration.
World of Work Experiences: We provide opportunities for career exploration and work placements.
Leadership Development: Students engage in projects and activities that build confidence and leadership skills.
Submit Application: Complete our online application form, sharing your child's aspirations and interests.
Personal Statement: Your child should write a short piece, either a paragraph or a poem or paint a picture or leave a voice note as to why they want to join BlackStarAcademy. At least one parent will also need to complete a personal statement why they want their child to join BlackStarAcademy.
Informal Chat: Selected students(and parents) will be invited for a short teams chat with one of our student onboarding team.
Acceptance: Successful students will be notified immediately and welcomed into the program.
Duration: 13 weeks academic term, with the option to continue
Weekly Sessions: Engaging online sessions covering various topics
Monthly Excursions: Planned Itineraries for students/parents to arrange educational excursions.
